Goal 4: Enhance Communication and Shared Focus Across Stakeholders (ie. members, community partners, etc.)

WMHCA's JEDI committee currently shares regular monthly updates in the email newsletter and on the JEDI page of the WMHCA website. Members are welcome to attend monthly JEDI and/or board meetings, which will include JEDI updates. All committee missions are on the website, along with shared language and definitions such as "anti-racism". We will include a data analysis of our membership's survey responses in the July newsletter.

Goal 5: Embed Organizational Values in All Stakeholder Interactions (ie. members, community partners, etc.)*

The Washington Mental Health Counselors Association is a LEADER in promoting human dignity in mental health. Our distinct professional identity embraces anti-racism, anti-ableism, education, public policy, community building, and relational advocacy. WMHCA is transforming counseling by integrating anti-racism into all aspects of the profession.
