The European Health Data Space (EHDS) Regulation introduces a phased framework for the access, exchange, primary use, and secondary use of electronic health data across the EU. It has implications for healthcare delivery, patient access, data governance, interoperability, research enablement, privacy, security, and organizational accountability.
